Call for Tutorial Proposals

Tutorial proposals in all areas of signal processing and its applications, as listed in the conference topics, are invited. Proposals related to new and emerging topics in signal processing are particularly encouraged.

Tutorials will have a duration of 3 hours, excluding a 20-30 minute break, and will take place prior to the main technical program. As ICASSP 2027 is an in-person conference, for each accepted tutorial, its proposer(s) will have to present it in-person at the conference venue in Toronto, Canada.

Please carefully read the guidelines outlined below before submitting your tutorial proposal by email at [email protected]

Guidelines. Tutorial proposals should include the following essential information (page limit: 2 pages):

  • Title of the tutorial.
  • Presenter name(s), contact information, short biography (maximum of 100 words), and a list of five recent related publications.
  • A summary of the presenter’s previous tutorial delivery experience and a statement of any previous or related version of this tutorial.
  • The rationale for the tutorial includes the importance, timeliness, novelty of the tutorial, and how it can introduce new ideas, topics, and tools to the SP community.
  • A description of the tutorial outlining the topics and subtopics covered.

The selection of tutorials for presentation at the conference will be based on the relevance of the topic and its potential interest to signal processing professionals and students, the expertise of the presenters, peer-review feedback, the diversity of the topics selected for the tutorial program, and other criteria.

Submission Instructions

Proposals should be submitted by email to [email protected]. Inquiries should be sent via e-mail to the Tutorials Chairs at the same address [email protected].
